Migration is the elephant in the room. Everyone knows it needs to happen, versions go out of support & new features come along which users want to leverage, but not everyone is sure how it’s going to behave & how they need to treat it to get the best results. This session will attempt to lift the myths and the fog surrounding migration and help you achieve some clarity as you start to plan for the future.
Both MQ and IIB will be looked focussing on migration, the features and function which is available to aid you on your way, as well as the best practices to follow and the pitfalls to avoid. You should leave with a better understanding and able to deal with that elephant that’s hiding in the corner.-David Coles-IBM Corporation; Mayur Raja-IBM UK Laboratories Limited
