In this MVS Core Technologies Project Opening session, the Project Manager (PM) will discuss the topics this project covers, introduce the volunteers who support the project, and explain how you can assist us in an ongoing, or even infrequent basis. The PM will point out some new sessions presented by the project, highlight some sessions hosted by other projects we believe are relevant to our platform, and cover any other administrivia you should know about.
Mike Shorkend will give a brief introduction to the SHARE Requirements process.
Scott Engleman (z/OS Offering Manager) will give an overview of some of the latest and greatest from the z/OS development team.
