The MVS Program Opening is the first session of the week and runs unopposed within our Program.
The Program Managers will introduce the Program Officers and Project Managers and provide an overview of the week's activities, including sessions of particular interest sponsored by our Program and others across SHARE.
We will then hear from John Shebey (z/OS Service) about critical APARs and other items of interest to z/OS administrators, system programmers, and developers alike.
And finally, Scott Engleman (IBM Offering Manager for z/OS), will bring us up to date on the latest happenings with respect to the z/OS platform from both a strategic and tactical perspective. Topics could include planned 4Q deliverables, new IBM Statements of Direction, and perhaps even one or two "you heard it here first" items never before disclosed in a public forum not covered by NDA.-Edward Jaffe-Phoenix Software International; John C.
