Have you heard about the new Single System Image (SSI) and Live Guest Relocation (LGR) capabilities that are available with z/VM 6.2? If so, then you probably have questions, such as "How do I set up a z/VM SSI cluster?" and "How do I get from my current z/VM environment to a cluster?" This session will cover planning considerations for installing z/VM 6.2 and setting up your SSI cluster as well as converting existing z/VM environments to SSI clusters.
This is the second in a series of 3 sessions covering SSI and LGR and assumes some knowledge about SSI. It is recommended (but not required) that you attend or review "z/VM Single System Image and Live Guest Relocation Overview " before attending this session. More details will also be provided in "z/VM Live Guest Relocation - Planning and Use". John Franciscovich ; IBM Corporation
