The z/OS system trace table is the "black box" of the system that z/OS debugging experts turn to when analyzing a problem. Have you ever wished you could read it more fluently? In this session, the speaker will discuss practical examples of using the system trace (IP SYSTRACE) to help debug problems. The speakers, seasoned z/OS Support technicians, will discuss their tips and tricks for extracting key information out of the z/OS system trace. This session was well-received when offered as "IBM z/OS L2 Insight: Applied System Trace" in Providence (session 21604) and Sacramento (session 22545). Given that z/OS system trace analysis is critical for debugging, we are offering this session once more as part of our debugging track in Phoenix.-Patty Little-IBM Corporation; John C.
