KVM for IBM z Systems will play a significant role in the delivery of future hypervisor capabilities for IBM z Systems. KVM for IBM z, along with the industry-leading capabilities of z/VM, will give Linux users even more flexibility in leveraging the strengths of IBM z Systems to host large-scale, enterprise-class, virtual server solutions. KVM for IBM z offers value for new customers looking to take their KVM skills and ecosystem to a whole new level of business value on IBM z Systems and LinuxONE platforms.     

In this session, the speaker will explain the positioning of KVM for IBM z in z Systems and LinuxONE environments. An overview of the technology and an explanation of ordering and support will be provided.
