This lab will provide an introduction to Encryption Facility for z/OS and allow attendees to play the part of two business partners who would like to exchange confidential data over an open network.
You will find this lab useful because the Encryption Facility for z/OS OpenPGP support has been recently uplifted to the RFC 4880 Internet Standard for the OpenPGP Message Format. This enhancement provides compatibility with other OpenPGP products running on distributed systems providing easy exchange of encrypted data between z/OS and other systems. The SPE that delivers this support also contains enhancements to the EF OpenPGP interface providing a batch mode for key generation and public key export.-Steve Hart-IBM Corporation; Wai Choi-IBM Corporation
