Reducing MLC spend by lowering the rolling 4 hour average MSU consumption is a common goal of many organizations today because it can result in significant savings. A first step is analyzing and understanding MSU consumption. This means gaining an understanding of processor consumption patterns, which workloads are contributing to the peaks, and what workloads may be suffering if, or when, a cap is enforced.
MSU Savings may be lurking in the dark corners of your performance data. Peter Enrico and Scott Chapman will show you how to shine a light on these potential hidden savings, and see what can be scared out of the dark in hopes of reducing your software costs.Â
