In this session, we will discuss a new offering on the new IBM z15 called Data Privacy for Diagnostics, a feature that helps tightening dump protection for data that will need to be shared with software vendors. This often poses a problem for organizations that must comply with the GDPR laws and/or other data privacy laws and often forces them to make a choice between serviceability or compliance. The material will describe enhancements to z/OS APIs that enables applications to tag their customer sensitive data and then z/OS post-processing procedure to secure tagged pages by redacting them from the new dump that is generated, which can be shared with vendors when seeking help in diagnosing system problems.-Purvi Patel-IBM
