There are several well understood hybrid computing models used withing the zEnterprise ecosystem.  This session demonstrates how to extend traditional z/OS batch to exploit non z/OS computing resources via "Hybrid Batch Processing".  This specialized form of hybrid computing can be particularly effective when interacting with Big Data clusters.  Several case studies are examined which implement "z/OS Hybrid Batch and Big Data" using the Co:Z Co-Processing Toolkit.-Steve Goetze-Dovetailed Technologies, LLC; Kirk Wolf-Dovetailed Technologies, LLC
