While all UNIX/Linux operating systems share a basic underlying structure and command set, z/OS UNIX is unique. In this session we'll examine the differences between Linux systems in general and z/OS UNIX. For Linux users or z/OS users new to UNIX/Linux, we'll examine the z/OS interfaces: ISPF UDLIST (3.17), TSO OMVS & ISHELL, and the z/OS Shell (sh) as contrasted to typical Linux shell access. We'll also examine the z/OS UNIX Filesystem, tool set, and other key differences.-John G. Kelley-Kelley-Dalton, Incoporated
