Preparing for SHARE Washington, D.C.

Speaker Checklist

  • Complete SHARE Washington, D.C. Speaker Agreement – Due Jan. 6, 2025
  • Register for SHARE Washington, D.C.
  • Attend the SHARE Speaker Orientation Webinar
  • Upload your session material(s)

 

Complete Your Speaker Agreement

All speakers must complete the SHARE Speaker Agreement by Jan. 6, 2025. Only one (1) agreement is required per speaker. If you agree to present at SHARE Washington, D.C. and your availability changes later, please email the education team at speakers@share.org.

Speaker Agreements not received by Jan. 6, 2025, may result in removing the speaker’s session(s) from the program.

 

Register for SHARE Washington, D.C.

All speakers must register for the event. Please visit the SHARE DC Registration page to view speakers' rates and register. The speaker registration discount will be automatically applied.

 

Attend the SHARE Speaker Orientation Webinar

Join the SHARE Director of Conference Operations and Education staff on Jan. 30 for information to help you prepare for your on-site session(s) and experience.

SHARE Session Materials

All SHARE speakers are highly encouraged to upload a PDF copy of their slide deck and/or supplemental session handouts to enhance the attendees' learning experience.

  • Download the SHARE Presentation Template to create your slide deck
  • Name your slide deck file with your session ID, underscore, then the Title with no spaces (ex: 23405_SHAREDCSpeakersExample)
  • All materials must be uploaded by Feb. 21, 2025, to be available to attendees during SHARE Washington, DC.
  • Visit the Presentation Resources page for tips to deliver a successful presentation.

 

Upload Your Session Materials

  • Log in to the Event platform: SHARE DC Speaker Platform
  • Click on the ‘Speaker Home’ page from the left-hand navigation
  • Click on the ‘Edit’ button for your session
  • On the session page, click the ‘Manage Session’ button to the right of the title
  • In the pop-up window, click ‘Edit Session’ and then ‘Add Attachment’
  • Upload your presentation slide deck (PDF format) and click ‘Update’

Session Change Request

Need to request changes to your session details? Submit a session change request form to request changes to your session title, abstract and/or speaker(s).
